The Finlandia Ski Maraton route will change for the winter of 2025. To strengthen the snow security, field parts have been reduced from the route. Orinkarkaus service station will become two-way.
Next year, the longest distances in Finlandia Ski Marathon in Lahti and Hollola, the 62 km route, can be skied as a relay with three skiers in a team.
Nordic Walking World Championships 2024 were held in the demanding but beautiful terrain of Salpausselkä in Lahti. The rainy weather did not dampen the mood, the happy look remained throughout the weekend among the participants. More than 400 performances and Nordic walkers from 23 different countries were seen at Salpausselkä.
Finlandia Ski Marathon becomes part of the Ski Classics Challengers series with a double event weekend - 62km Classic and 62km Freestyle races.

Next Finlandia-hiihto will be take place at 22.-23.2.2025. Registration opens 1st of April.
