ROUTE UPDATE: After inspection the route of 32 km is mainly in good condition

During the weekend, Finlandia Ski Marathon organizers have made inspections on the tracks. The route of 32 km is mainly in good condition. After snowing last week and snowmaking some parts are already fixed.

There are approximately 700 cubic meters in storage for the track preparation needs of the route.

The biggest challenges have been in Messilä area, in the field, on the bridge and at the service station. These parts will be subject for snowing this week. The final update for the routes will be published on Monday 17th of February.

By Sunday evening, the registrations broke the limit of 3,000 participants. Based on the information from the previous years, the number of participants will increase to close to 4,000, although skiing opportunities have been poor, especially in southern Finland.
