Kids Race
This year Kids race - event will be arranged for the second time in Finlandia-hiihto!
Event will be arranged on Saturday 22.2.2025.
The whole family can participate in the event to cheer for the youngest members of the family as they cross the finish line. The event includes the Kids race skiing event, where under 4 year old participants ski a 200m long route on the Karpalo area, and over 4 year old ones get to experience the real Finlandia-hiihto tracks with a 500m long loop.
Every child participating in the Kids race will receive participation medal, warm juice at finish and happy memories! In addition to the skiing event itself, there will be other fun winter activities for children to participate in while waiting for their turn to ski!
Over 4 year old skiers begin at 11:30 am. Once the older participants have finished skiing, the under 4 year old race begins, around 12:00 pm. It is recommended to arrive well in advance so that the young skier can get their skis on in time! The starts take place in groups of a few skiers.
Registration for the event is now open. Skier amount is limited to 150 participants. Places are filled in the registration order. When registering, the skier’s name and age group must be provided.
