If a person wishes to participate both 62 km races (classic and free-style) we will give a 40€ discount from the total sum. Select the package from our registration.

bib package, gear sack, equipment and ski storage at the race office, wax service at the service stations, ski pole service at the service stations, provisions and/or drinks at the service stations, meal after the race, sauna after the race, medal for everyone finishing within the time limit, awards and prizes for the winners, first aid, transportation to the finishing area for the participants whom withdraw from the race, basic group insurance.

Travel to Lahti
Traveling to Lahti is a breeze!
Lahti Travel Center (fi. Matkakeskus) connects train and bus traffic to the same place. Travel Center is located less than a kilometer from Lahti Town Square which locates in the heart of the city. Lahti Sports Center, Finski's starting area, is located just a few hundred meters from the square.
If you're traveling to Finland by airplane you can take a train from Helsinki-Vantaa airport all the way to Lahti Travel Center with only a single stop between the stations!

Cancellation & reimbursement policy
In case Finlandia-hiihto (Finlandia Ski Marathon) is forced to be canceled due to weather conditions or for any other reason that is beyond of the orgaziner’s control (ie. war, epidemic, natural disaster or by order/recommendation issued by the local authority), the organizer have the right to keep 50% of the admission fee. The remaining 50% is reducted from the next year’s event admission fee or returned to the participant. In case of cancellation of the event the organizer will make a public announcement about the cancellation on the internet (and on local media).
A participant or his team/group whom wishes to cancel their admission is not entitled to receive a reimbursement from the admission fee. However if the cancellation has been made before 31st of December of the respective year a participant can transfer 50% of the payment paid and have it reducted from the next year’s admission fee. A participant is required to inform Finlandia-hiihto's office about any cancellations.
If the course (i.e. ski tracks) has to be shortened due to extreme snow conditions or for any other reason that is beyond of the orgaziner’s control, the admission fee is not reimbursed nor is the participant entitled to any discounts or any other forms of reimbursements.
In case of Sickness
In a case of sickness a participant can apply for a reimbursement. The Reimbursement is 50% of the payment made after submitting a official document (e.g. doctor/nurses certificate) not later than March 31st of the respective year.
The participant can transfer 50% of the payment paid and have it reducted from the next year’s admission fee. To be entitled for a reimbursement you must submit an official document by doctor/nurse not later than March 31st of the respective year to Finlandia-hiihto's office.
The documents can be scanned/photographed and send to us by email.
Please remove any social security numbers from the documents before sending them over to us.
We would also appreciate a lot if you would inform us as soon as possible in case you're not able to participate the event.
Reimbursements
Note. All reimbursement are only valid until the following Finlandia-hiihto event and will void after if not used. All reimbursements are personal and can't be transferred to another person.
