Special anniversary events

Perinne-Finlandia (Traditionl route) 75 km CT 25.2.2023

In honor of the 50th anniversary, the traditional Hämeenlinna – Lahti route will be used. There are a limited number of service stations on the way and the first part of the route is a narrow snowmobile route. There will be two parallel tracks for most of the journey, but there are also sections with only one track. The first service station is in Lammi and after that the track connects to the 62 km route after the Papinkaivo service station. The route must be completed within 10 hours. The departure is from Hämeenlinna at 8:00. In Lammi, the service station closes at 12:30. The event will be organized if the snow situation allows it. If the track cannot be completed due to weather conditions or for any other reason, the registration will automatically be transferred to the 62 km CT distance. The number of participants is limited to 500 participants, and places are filled in order of registration.

Voluntary bus transportation is organized for the participants starting in front of the Lahti Exhibition Center at 6:30. Transportation cost is á 30 €. The bus fee need be paid in advance in the registration system. You can leave a small equipment bag on the bus at the departure point in Hämeenlinna, which will be delivered equipment storage in the finish area. The competition office opens at 6:00. The participation fee includes three service stations, a medal, diploma, warm meal and a sauna for those who have reached the finish line within the time limit.

Moonlight Finlandia 32 km FT 25.2.2023

Start and finish at the Lahti Sports Center stadium. You can participate in the event in a relaxed mood, new experiences and dark winter night feelings are available. Skiers must have their own headlamp. Departure time is 20:00. The route must be completed within 5 hours. The finish closes at 01:00. The participation fee includes the service stations, a medal, diploma, evening snack and sauna for those who have reached the finish line within the time limit.
