From Pasta Party to the warmth of Sauna
A high-quality mass ski event doesn’t only include a rapid round on skis followed by a quick shower. Even children don’t have to miss the atmosphere and red cheeks of Finlandia Ski Marathon. Lasten Finlandia (Children’s Finlandia) is a free ski event for children that go to school in the Lahti area. The event was first organized in 2014, when nearly 2000 young skiers got to enjoy the tracks of Lahti Sports Centre. Lasten Finlandia, which is held a couple weeks before the actual Finlandia Ski Marathon, is doing important work enabling everyone to enjoy the magic of winter sports. Different sports organizations have an important role in helping children grow their love for an active lifestyle.
