Breaking news from Finlandia Ski Marathon – launching relay for 2025 event!

Next year, the longest distances in Finlandia Ski Marathon in Lahti and Hollola, the 62 km route, can be skied as a relay with three skiers in a team. Relay is an option both on Saturday in classic and on Sunday in free.

Do it in Relay!

Exchanges are located in Hälvälä and Heinsuo service stations.

Relay start takes place from the Lahti ski stadium as usual. The first leg, about 20 kilometers, will be from Lahti to Hollola, Hälvälä service station, where the first change is located. The second leg between Hälvälä and Heinsuo, is the longest one, about 30 kilometers. And the third leg, a good 10 kilometers, brings relay from Heinsuo to the finish line, back to the Lahti ski stadium.

Exchange locations, service stations, were chosen on the basis of good accessibility. In addition, the distances of the now selected exchange stations vary slightly, so it is possible to assemble a team of skiers of different levels.

In relay, prizes are awarded to the best three teams in 62 km classic on Saturday and 62 km free on Sunday.
